Lights Out

Lights Out is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. This policy explains exactly what data stays on your device and what, if anything, leaves it.

Game progress & scores — Your scores, achievements, and game history are saved locally using your device's built-in storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up via iCloud or Google Drive.

Settings & preferences — Difficulty level, sound preferences, and other in-app settings are stored locally on your device.

Purchase status — Whether you have unlocked Premium is determined by your App Store or Google Play account. We do not store payment information.

If you submit a score to a leaderboard, your chosen display name and score are stored on our server so other players can see them. No email address, device identifier, or other personal information is collected or linked to your leaderboard entry.

You can delete your leaderboard data at any time from within the app under Profile → Delete My Data.

Lights Out does not use third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel). No behavioral or usage data is sent to any analytics provider.

Lights Out contains no advertisements and does not integrate any advertising SDKs. No advertising identifiers (IDFA, GAID) are accessed or transmitted.

Apple App Store / Google Play — Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple or Google. Their privacy policies govern any data they collect during the transaction.

Replit — Our server infrastructure is hosted on Replit. Standard server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) may be retained by Replit for security and operational purposes in accordance with Replit's Privacy Policy.

Lights Out does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected from any user, the app is suitable for all ages.

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
